Rebel Tip is a cashless tipping platform that allows tips to be received directly and paid immediately into yourRebel Tip app.

Go to www.rebeltip.com and register, confirm your email address and you’ll receive your unique QR code that you can share to collect and receive tips.

Once you’ve registered you’ll get a unique QR code in the Rebel Tip app that you can display on your phone and share with someone to receive a tip.

We don’t share any personal data when you receive a tip.

We want people to be rewarded and are providing an option where cash isn’t available. If you still have cash tips that doesn’t need to change. When you receive a tip it’s loaded to your Rebel Tip app straight away.

You can have your QR code on your phone, print it out, put it onto a receipt or invoice.  Share your QR code and the person tipping you just opens their phone, scans your QR and follows the instructions on their phone to send a tip, selecting an amount and either entering their card details or using Google Pay or Apple Pay or entering their card details.

You can view and track all of your tips received through the Rebel Tip app with a detailed transaction history.

If you don’t have an account or don’t have your QR code handy, then you ask someone to go to www.RebelTip.com and click on Promise to Pay, they can create a promise to pay unique code, entering their email and tip amount.   Once you register or have your QR code, you enter the unique code in your account to redeem the tip, we’ll send an email to the Rebel Tipper with a payment link for them to make the tip direct to your account.

It’s free to register and start receiving tips. We do unfortunately get charged by the card networks to collect the payment and to transfer your money out to your bank account.  So we have to charge a fee when you transfer out.

To reset your password, go to the Rebel Tip login page and click “Forgotten Password” and follow the instructions to reset your password using the email address you provided when you registered.

You can only collect tips with your Rebel Tip account, you can’t use it for selling or goods or services.

Rebel Tip is only for use in the UK.

To protect our customers we perform verification checks when you load more than £120 or when you perform your first bank transfer. We use the information that you give us when you sign up for an automated electronic check, and occasionally we are required to request documentation to support the verification.

You can download statements from your account just like a bank account, so you can share the information with the tax authorities in your tax return like any other income.

Rebel Tip uses advanced encryption and security measures to ensure that your transactions are safe and secure.

You should check with your employer whether it’s ok to use this, and you can direct them to us to help explain what Rebel Tip does.
